Dr. Lily Glassman

Dr. Glassman is a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey and Massachusetts. She specializes in providing individual and couple therapy to young adults and working professionals. She values providing treatment for individuals from diverse backgrounds with a variety of religious, cultural, sexual, and gender identities.

Dr. Glassman's areas of specialty include: Relationship issues, emotion regulation, depression, anxiety, stress, self-criticism, perfectionism, conflict with family of origin, boundary setting, trauma, grief and bereavement, career concerns, identity development, and life transition concerns. She also specializes in working with individuals who identify as highly sensitive people.

Dr. Glassman received her Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in Psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She earned her Masters of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Psychology Degrees (Psy.D.) from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. She also completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Counseling Center.

 

 Specialized trainings include:

  • Internal Family Systems (Level 1 certified)

  • Emotion Focused Therapy for couples (Externship and additional training/supervision)

  • CBT-based treatment for skin-picking and hair-pulling disorders (ComB model certified)

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (Immersion Program)
